Beware: hair care

I bought a new hair straightener today at Wal-Mart. It's definitely not top of the line, but it's so much better and up-to-date than my current one, so I'm excited.

As I was reading through the little booklet that came with it I came across this instruction:

"6. Never use while sleeping."

I just find it hilarious that the makers of this product found it necessary to include that rule in a list of other pertinent ones. Who straightens their hair in their sleep? Really, if I could figure out how that would save me some time...

What's that saying, "Necessity is the mother of invention?" Sadly, someone probably sued saying it burned their bedsheets or something. Like, duh. I have found those similar warnings ridiculously hilarious in the past myself.

That's hilarious! I wish that there were lots of things I could get done while i sleep, but have never thought of straightening my hair....hmmmmm

Just make sure this hot new flat iron doesn't burn a hole in your butt! Especially when you're sleeping! Tell them to put THAT in the user manual! lol

That way if someone does happen to use it in their sleep and ends up burning themselves - the company does not have to pay for the damages. :)
