ready

I think we all feel it; Spring fever. I have a major case of it and I am so ready for warmer weather and longer, sun soaked days.
This morning William needed to dip his fingers in the sand.

{These little sandboxes were a gift from Erica two years ago for Christmas. They are seriously one of my favorite toys. The boys love them and will spend hours digging their fingers in the sand. We drive trucks in them, play farm in them, and today William played with animals in his.}

Sometimes it just feels good to dig your fingers in something.
And sometimes it feels good to shop online.
When I have the itch to do some major shopping, I usually hop online. I know I shouldn't really buy anything, but I always go to Old Navy because I figure if there's going to be anything I might just be able to splurge on, it will be there.

I wanted to remember these, you know, just in case Patrick told me to go purchase a spring/beach wardrobe. So at first I put them all in my online "cart". Ha. There they will sit. Unless....Patrick?
But they all make me feel like cleaning out my closet and pulling everything light and airy to the front and center. I'm ready for you Spring!

Too funny! About the shopping...that is:) whenever I do online shopping I go through and put everything I like in my cart. Then I let it sit and revisit now and again. Sometimes, depending on where you shop, if you have stuff in your cart the company will send you coupons to try and get you to submit that order, other times I google the store name with coupons and can find some good ones. Sometimes I slowly dwindle the items down until I have a couple that I feel Ok to buy. But I have to say it's fun and provides me lots of entertainment:)

Some things never change; you loved looking through catalogs when you were a little girl, now you do the "grown-up" version. I can see you in ALL of it. Treat yourself!
As I look at that picture of Willy with the lion, it reminds of the GIANT roooaaarrrr he did in my living room when he was impersonating a lion and how he snarled his nose and one eye, threw himself into it and gave it everything he had. So funny!
Thanks for sharing such great pictures. He is so darned adorable. Mom

Excellent choices! I need to remember Old Navy more often for sure. Love those espadrilles - can't go wrong with navy stripes.

I think we should have a real live shopping day soon? I will add it to our wish list of weekends and days we need to spend together! :-)

P.S. We love our sandboxes, too. They are the cutest things.

I love all of your selections especially the dress with the coat! SO cute! I'm hoping you can take your cart to the check out :-) At least for one or two items...I call that saving money in my house... I could have bought all four but only bought two! ha ha! Just kidding! I agree, we should all go shopping again soon!
Love you,
Erica
PS-I'm so glad you and the boys like the boxes. I feel like those boxes are a love or hate item for people because of the mess.
