I Have No Ankles

So, my ankles have disappeared. It's official. Yesterday I was looking at my swollen feet and then I noticed that my ankles are also really swollen and now just blend in with my legs! I have to just smile and laugh at the funny and amazing ways a body changes during pregnancy.

You always said you wanted to be pregnant in the heat of summer! :-)
You look beautiful! I can relate to the cankles, though, I had them for the last 6 weeks! Hang in there. He'll be here before you know it. :-)

Love you guys...

Wow, this time I didn't get to swelling stage even though I was 37 weeks- I think with Nathan I started getting swollen feet at 38 weeks. It definitey looks like, "whose feet are those?" I had to loosen my Birkenstocks a notch, which is a good 1/2 inch or more!! Make sure to rest up and get those feet up! I guess lying on your left side is supposed to help more than just putting your feet up.

I have no ankles, either. Both of my feet were amputated because of complications resulting from frostbite. At least you get yours back.

You have such a sweet attitude about swollen feet and ankles. I can relate though. My feet and legs are starting to swell. What was I thinking being pregnant in the summer in Florida?
By the way, we just mmoved Emily into her big girl bed in Caroline's room. So far so good. the girls love being roommates!

Just wanted to say I am sorry about the poster above who lost his feet. I too think it's pretty insensitive of someone who is being blessed to have another baby, to start complaining about slightly swollen feet. I think that guy needs to kick you in the rear end, wait... he can't.
