Dozer Day
On Saturday, 8.23, Patrick and Brandon took Henry and Charlie to "Day of the Dozer". It's like a construction site/heavy equipment man-land. The event was founded in 1999 and the proceeds from the admission go to the community cancer center. There are dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and road graders on-site that the children can watch and ride on. I was surprised to find out that Henry wanted nothing to do with riding on any of the machines. In fact, they waited in one line for almost an hour to ride in the excavator and when it was Henry's turn he said he didn't want to go! He loved watching all of the machines work and when he came home he was geared up to play with his construction trucks.

I thought about taking Kaylee to this as she enjoys tractors, etc, but just didn't make it. It looked like they all enjoyed themselves! I LOVE that face of Henry's it makes me giggle everytime! I'm envious of his ability to be so easily excited....
