We started today with a nice walk down to a water front beach store. The sun has been very strong and our poor boys, especially Henry, got pink shoulders yesterday. We got some swim shirts and aloe and headed to the pool for a morning swim. (Thankfully those, along with a thick slathering of spf every half hour-we took no chances today-did the trick.)
It was the quintessential vacation day. Pool, long naps, followed by a visit to the beach to dip our toes and play wiffle-ball. We ordered pizza and Reggae Rolls (from Pompano Joes) and ate by the pool while the boys felt adventurous having a night swim.
Once Henry and William were tucked into bed, I capped off this perfect day with an thick slice of key lime pie we carried out from Pompano Joes.
